In california does selling used small boats and jet ski's require a special license?

i own a small used car dealer and was wondering if i need a special license to buy and sell small boars (under 16') and other watercraft?





i looked online but it only mentiones that a special yacht license is required if the boats are bigger then 16' and i cant find any other info.|||I would have to say, your best bet would be to call your local DMV office and make sure..you don't need to get in any trouble if you don't have to.. Right?.. :%26gt;)|||call the CHP or the tax office or the Fish and Game office and get the answer from the true source ..... you probably can do with under 16' with the dealership license ----- best to ask the correct source and skip the possibility of a fine and court problem ... you know that once you get cited for one prob they start looking for more problems ...
