What kind of paint is used on boats and jet skis?

I've heard something about gell coating. Not familiar with that.|||Gelcoat is sprayed into a mold before the fiberglass lay-up. Its not a paint but more like a pigmented epoxy resin that is mils thick. Once the boat has been used and needs refinishing it may be sprayed with a imron or other high quality spray-on paints but generally boats/pwcs are not painted from the factory, they come out of the mold wearing gelcoat.|||Go here and they can explain. www.racingcomposites.net It's a resin that can be sprayed or brushed on.|||the paint is call emeron(may be mis-spelled)|||thanx 4 the 2
