Do dealers allow you to purchase used boats with a credit card? We obviously get a better interest rate.?

Yes they do, all they want is to get paid.

BUT, using a credit card is not a good idea unless your APR is below 6% and even if it was, just one time being late more then 30 days will cause your APR to skyrocket.

You would do better simply getting a line of credit from a credit union, they offer the lowest rates on purchases of autos and boats, even used ones. If your credit score is high, you can probably get a rate of 5%.

If the dealer prefers you pay right then and there, negotiate a much lower sales price and they will not have to pay any fees for arranging any loans for you.

Better yet, remember CASH IS KING!

Hope this helps answer your question.
