for best value you should only consider the out-board type of runabouts ---- much easier to have repaired ,,if necessary,, and if you decide to move up to a newer boat you have better resale..Caravelle, Glastron, and Chris Craft have the best hulls in the line you are seeking ... keep searching and check the bottom of the boat for ''beaching scrapes and gouges'' to the keel of the boat --- if you find a boat that looks and ''runs'' good then it probably is a good buy ... but do not buy a boat without putting it in the water and getting a test ride ((((( no test ride -- no purchase))))) some folks are not always honest about their ''for sale'' stuff and same for this ''''''AS IS ''''' type offer of sale ---- pass on those shady deals ___even if it looks good .... ... ...
