What cars use a GM 3.0 4 cylinder engine? This engine was also used in boats with an OMC outdrive.?

We have Forklifts with them....

But cars did NOT get the 3.0 version, it IS the same as the 2.5L "Iron Duke" engine..Note the valve cover, same as the valve cover on the small block V-8!

I have seen the 2.5 ID engine in a `94 Lumina, and earlier in the Citation. They did not go into the Cavalier and Corsica however.

Some early ones were used in 4 cylinder Novas in the `60`s.What cars use a GM 3.0 4 cylinder engine? This engine was also used in boats with an OMC outdrive.?

No actually the Chevy nova had it for years, I actully have one in my boat that is 22 years old I'm replacing, and according to GM it's been around longer than any other boat motor on the stern drive. The Largest I4 that gm makes now is the 2.9L used in the canyon, and Colorado

Need more / or correct info. 2.5 (151 CID) was the standard 4 banger for a long time. 2.2 and 2.4 and now a 2.7 (HHR) are the norm in the GM line up. I'm not sure about boat motor liter sizes but if it was a 3.0 liter engine in it most likely is a V-6.
There is no such thing as a GM 3.0 4 cylinder engine. A 3.0 is a V6, as is a 2.8. The 2.8 is the 6 cyl that came in the camaros and firebirds. The 4 cylinder engines are the 2.0, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 engines. Also, the 2.5 Iron Duke is a 4 cylinder. What cars use a GM 3.0 4 cylinder engine? i do believe the 3.0 was also the standard engine on the 82-84 Chevy camaro and firebird.when gm decided to casterate the cars by giving them 4 bangers for power plants the V6 and V8's were optional equipment..
