What kind of boats were used in the Genpei War?

I've trawled across plenty of sites looking for information on the naval battles of the Genpei War, such as the battle of Dan-no-ura. However, I haven't been able to get a hold of any decent resolution pictures showing what kind of vessels were deployed. I don't even know what they were called!
