Pirate speed boats where are used?

The speedboats in the news don't look like speed boats in the america. Does the somalis use cigarette boats?|||Yes, they are sponsored by RJ Reynolds and US Tobacco.|||no, some pirates do use cigarette boats but most of them don't. usually they are small runabouts with big engines on them. my friends went to the bahamas last year and their boat was stolen, the people who saw the boat leaving the harbor said there was another boat following it that didnt even look seaworthy
